Notice of New Language on Releases

December 7, 2021 08:00 AM

Consistent with the permanent COVID policies adopted by the Eagle-Picher, Keene, and Raytech Trustees, all Trusts have adopted a revised form of their releases for all applicable options allowing for the release to be executed pursuant to 28 USC sec. 1746 and applicable state law, and to eliminate the need for the claimant to have the release notarized and/or witnessed.

Additionally, the Trusts have decided to permanently accept commercially reasonable e-signature programs so long as the law firm has an EFA in good standing in place with the Trusts and CPF. Law firms shall continue to maintain the audit trail for all electronic signatures.

Any questions on these changes, please contact CPF President, Melanie Impastato at Melanie.Impastato@cpf-inc.com

Thank you, CPF
