CPF processing capacity can be quickly and efficiently increased to whatever extent is required, so that the
processing needs of new trusts can readily be accommodated. CPF clearly
demonstrated this ability in 1998 when it seamlessly and effectively ramped up
operations to meet the significant processing requirements of the EPI Trust.
CPF processed approximately 300,000 claims for the EPI Trust during its first 3
years of operation. This work was performed with a high degree of quality, as
confirmed by independent internal audit results.
CPF Management believes that it can cut the processing time much further for a
start-up trust contracts with the CPF today.
